This grass fed beef is pasture raised and fattened on a 100% corn free diet free from any added hormones or antibiotics. Most ranchers I know will tell you that a little more fat in the beef (which is characteristic of beef that is not purely grass fed) is good, but there are great rich flavors in grass fed beef that warrant your tasting. Please remember that there are distinctively different cooking techniques (specifically lower temoeratures and 30% less cooking time) for these grass fed beef steaks. Chef Ahser has tried many grass fed varieties and recommends the Painted Hills beef.

Each of the Steak packages contains 10 steaks and the steaks are 10 Ounces each. You can choose combinations of New York and Rib Eye steaks of a full package of one or the other. The steaks are frozen.

The Grass fed Ground beef is a great Hamburger (or any recipe using ground beef) ingredient. Less fat typically with much different flavor.
