Salsa - Simple and Very, Very Fresh

How Fresh Can Salsa Be?


  • 6 Jalapenos Peppers
  • 10 Ripe Roma Tomatoes
  • 3-4 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt 


  1. Cook and blacken Jalapenos in skillet or cast iron pan
  2. Place garlic in blender first
  3. Quarter tomatoes and place in blender followed by jalapenos.
  4. Pulse at medium speed until desired texture in achieved. Be sure not to puree!
  5. Add Salt. mix and serve.

This fresh salsa will go on chips, eggs, muchomos, taco salad, burritos, fish, meat,  - just about everything. Heat will depend on the Jalapenos.
